Test Results

If you have had a test ordered by your Doctor, he or she will tell you the arrangements for obtaining the result.  Under normal circumstances we ask patients to telephone for results on 01636 704225, option 2. In certain circumstances the Doctor may authorise the staff to tell you the result over the telephone.

We do not give out test results at Reception due to confidentiality.  If you have been to the hospital and a Doctor there arranged for you to have a test, you should contact the hospital for the result.

The practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. We will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
