Emergencies 

Outside normal surgery hours you will hear an answering machine that will help you contact the Out of Hours Service. 
You may be asked to attend the Out of Hours Emergency Treatment Centre, where the Doctor may be from a neighbouring practice.


Home Visits
Home visits are only made if the Doctor feels it is appropriate.  Please telephone Newark 704225 option 2 before 10am if you wish to request a home visit. We cannot guarantee that any particular Doctor will visit you, as visits are often shared out on a geographical basis.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone Newark 704226 and choose option 1.

To order online, click link above. If you registered to order repeat prescriptions online before November 2009 you will need to re-register for this new version.Please only order medication which is on your repeat list. For other items which have been prescribed as a one-off, you will need to speak to your GP.

To order via reception - Please use the computer request slip and tick the items you require. 

An easy way to organise your prescriptions is to contact one of the local pharmacies and arrange for them to order and pick up your prescription from us. Then you just need to go to the chemist to collect your medication. Simply contact your chemist for more details. This is a free service.

We aim to process repeat prescriptions within 48 working hours (2 normal working days).  We regret that we are unable to give out prescriptions until after 10am, as we are very busy first thing in the morning. 

If you supply a stamped addressed envelope we will be happy to post your repeat prescription to you.  Please note that we do NOT deal with repeat prescription requests over the telephone.

Help us to help you.  Always allow at least 2 working days for your repeat prescription to be processed. Only oder medication which is on your repeat prescription list - ordering anything else will delay the process.
